How the Fixed Price Is Worked Out on the Phone
A "from" price becomes an exact one in a two-minute call. It is the same three steps every time, and none of them needs you to know anything about locks.

Describe the door
Timber, uPVC, composite or aluminium, and whether the keyhole is in the handle plate (a euro cylinder) or in the door itself (a mortice). A WhatsApp photo of the door edge answers most of this in one go.

Locked out with the keys inside, keys lost, key snapped in the barrel, a handle that will not lift, a letter from the insurer, a tenant moving out. Each points to a different row in the table above.

What Is Never on the Invoice
- A call-out fee or mileage. The journey from Ickenham is not charged at any hour.
