This website is operated by Open-in Security Services ("we", "us", "our"), an independent locksmith based at 87A Long Lane, Ickenham, Middlesex, UB10 8QS. What information we collect

We only collect what we need to respond to you and carry out work. When you call, email, message us on WhatsApp, or otherwise get in touch, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, the address where work is needed, and the details of your enquiry. We do not collect payment card details through this website.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, give you a price, arrange and carry out the work, and keep records of jobs we have done. Where we issue an invoice or receipt, we keep the records needed to meet our legal and tax obligations.

Our lawful basis

We process your information to take steps at your request before entering a contract and to perform that contract (carrying out the work you asked for), for our legitimate interest in running and improving the business, and to comply with legal obligations such as keeping accounting records.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it where necessary, for example with suppliers when a specific part or lock has to be ordered for your job, or where we are required to by law. Anyone we share information with is expected to keep it secure and use it only for that purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and job records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations. Financial records such as invoices are typically kept for six years, in line with UK tax requirements. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.

Cookies and third-party content

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Our contact page embeds a Google Map so you can find us; when that map loads, Google may set its own cookies and process data in line with Google's privacy policy. You can block cookies in your browser settings if you prefer.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for it in a portable format.
